Movember 2006 - Ready, Set, Mo!
It’s on again! Cogentis and Upstream are again joining forces to grow Moustaches in Movember to raise money for men’s health issues. This year, the money goes to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Beyond Blue.
Last year, Movember raised $1.1 million for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. That’s more money than the Prostate Cancer Foundation got from Federal Government funding . Prostate cancer is the second largest cause of cancer related death for men in Australia, and around 2,700 Australian men died from prostate cancer last year.
